Understanding CASR 121 FTDT – A Generic interpretation

The intention of this site is to gather information, so the commercial carriers conducting operations under DGCA have a reference point towards the safe application of the regulations.

CASR 121 FTDT is based primarily upon FAA FAR 121 subparts P, Q, R and S; operators are encouraged to be familiar with FAR 121 as many of the concepts are similar.

CASR 121 does not account for Acclimatization, WOCL infringement, Late Night to Early Start transitions or cumulative fatigue due to cumulative duty time.

Operators are also encouraged to be familiar with ICAO Annex 6 – Attachment A.
